FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A vectorized logo is built from mathematical curves, not pixels — usually a PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG file. It can be resized to any dimension without losing sharpness.
Vector logo
- A set of anchor points and geometric references that define how the image is displayed on screen.
- Can be resized without any loss of quality.
- Most common formats: .ai / .eps / .svg / .pdf*

Pixelated logo
- A set of pixels — small colored squares that, combined together, make up the image.
- Limited to a fixed size and resolution > loss of quality when resized.
- Most common formats: .jpg / .png / .gif

MOQ stands for Minimum Order Quantity — the smallest number of units a customer must order for a given product or service. At BSD, the MOQ depends on the type of service chosen:
- L’Atelier (logo personalisation): a minimum order of 24 units.
- Core Edition (standard products): MOQ varies by product and is indicated directly on each product page in the e-shop.
- Fully bespoke projects: MOQ is custom and defined together with the client during the initial brief, based on the project’s specifications.

For the European market, the most important standards to follow are:
- Food grade migration compliance (including traceability) — ensures packaging materials are safe for direct food contact
- PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) — the EU framework governing packaging sustainability
- FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) — certifies materials sourced from responsibly managed forests
BSD is affiliated with AFSCA (Belgian food safety authority) and follows a strict HACCP management plan for all food contact processes, ensuring full compliance and traceability at every stage of packaging production.
